Dr Muayad Alasady

Dr Muayad Alasady is an eminently experienced Canberra Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist specialising in heart rhythm disorders. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the Medical School of the Australian National University.

Dr Alasady completed both his Basic and Advanced Physician training at Canberra Hospital and was awarded the ‘Best Registrar Prize’ during his training. He then went on to complete multiple sub-specialised clinical training Fellowships in the areas of general and electrophysiological cardiology and successfully obtained cardiology registration in both Australia and Europe.

In addition to his training, Dr Alasady embarked on a clinical and research Fellowship and PhD at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and University of Adelaide under the supervision of Prof Prash Sanders and Dr Glenn Young.
